Why your size changes from shop to shop
There is no single standard behind bra sizing, so different shops describe the same body in different ways. Your measurements stay the same, and the label put on them changes. Once you know your own numbers, any chart becomes easy to read, including ours.
If the size does turn out wrong, your first exchange with us is free and you have 30 days to send it back.

Two things about our sizing are worth knowing before you order. Our cup letters run larger than the American ladder, so measure yourself rather than converting the size you usually buy. And our alpha sizes run one step larger than standard US alpha, which is why an L here is not an L everywhere.
Every chart on the size guide gives your body measurements, not the garment. Between two sizes, take the larger one, and your first exchange is free for thirty days.

What size should I order if I am between sizes?
Take the larger one. A band you can breathe in will always be better than a band that leaves a mark, and if it still is not right, your first exchange is free.
Why is my size different here from my size at other shops?
The very same body reads as a 36D in one sizing system and as a 32G in another. Neither of them is wrong, and all four systems are explained in the guide.
Can I wear a wired bra all day?
Yes, as long as the wire is wide enough to sit behind the breast tissue and not on it. Most of the discomfort women describe comes from a wire that is too narrow for them.
How long does delivery take?
Three to five business days within the US, and orders placed before three in the afternoon go out the same day.
What if the size doesn't fit?
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return or exchange. The first exchange per order is free — no return shipping cost.
Items must be unworn, unwashed, with all tags and the hygiene liner attached.
What if I receive the wrong size or a defective item?
That's on us. Email hello@ilariaintimates.com within 14 days of receiving your order. A photo helps speed things up, but isn't required.
We'll send a free replacement or a full refund, whichever you prefer.
